Nov 18th- Community Conversation about the M.E.T.S was a very successful event. Over 125 motivated parents, business leader and educational leaders showed up and shared their thoughts and ideas.  Now the work really begins! Momets is involved and represents parents in the community and your concerns about the curriculum have been addressed. It is still in question whether or not true change will come to our math and science curriculum but it is  a great start. Thank you for your help and to those of you who came to the event thank you for your participation.

Dec. 15- Next planners meeting for the Community Conversation on the METS. This event is put on by the Liberty School District and sponsored by the Kauffman Foundation. MOMETS sits on the planners Board. The event illustrates that the school district is as involved as we are in fixing the issue of our failing Math and Science Curriculum and we welcome their support. They have ask for volunteers to populate key task forces that will study the curriculum and propose changes.
